‘American Horror Story’ Season 2 Casting Call is Announced
Say good bye to the house, Tate, and to the beloved figures in the first season of American Horror Story on FX. Season two will be upon us soon enough but with a completely different look, theme, cast, and location. Many of us thought the main focus on the show was the house and we were so wrong. Read more for details for season 2 and how you yourself can become apart of the cast.
So as I stated earlier, nothing will remain from the first season as they have deemed the show an anthology series that will be different each season. I’m excited to hear this as I thought the end of the first season (and most of the beginning and middle) became very watered down and put together too fast with no chance of an actual continuation to the first story lines. This is probably the best idea the creators have come up with since inception and will draw huge anticipation for the upcoming seasons. To heighten the experience for fans, the directors and creators at FX are looking to fill small and even main roles for next season. Check out the official press release from FX to see how you can be apart of it:
“The FX’s network president John Landgraf has confirmed that “American Horror Story” creator/producer Ryan Murphy is now in the process of casting season 2. Casting director Eric Dawson has been retained for his second season of day-to-day casting duties. Auditions and casting for the show’s stars, guest stars, and day players is taking place in Los Angeles. Filming will also still take place in the Los Angeles area, therefore all of the extras, stand-ins, and photo-doubles will also be cast in L.A. In addition to the principal actor roles being cast, the extras casting directors are currently seeking extras for “American Horror Story” Season 2.
They are casting younger males and females (18+ is fine but you must look younger) both SAG and Non-union. If interesting in working on this show please submit your headshots and resumes to: Eric Stephen Souliere or Eric Dawson for Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer Casting 4705 Laurel Canyon Blvd. Suite 301 Valley Village, CA 91607 ***To be considered for extra work please call the Sande Alessi Casting registration hotline @ 818-623-7040″
