R.I.P. THE DESTROY THE BRAIN PODCAST, Welcome WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT HORROR!

10 years ago this June, I (Andy Triefenbach) started Destroy the Brain as a solo horror film podcast back when there were only a handful of podcasts talking about the genre. For three-and-a-half years, 78 episodes were released in a format that was dubbed “Season 1”. “Season 2” started with co-host Michael Haffner which lasted 47 episodes for 11 months. New contributors started writing for DTB and we picked up where “Season 2” left off, effectively starting “Season 3”. Since the show has evolved hosts and formats, we have collectively made the decision to retire the show known as “Destroy the Brain” or “The Destroy the Brain Podcast” and reboot it, since that’s the hot thing to do, as a newly named show. The podcast will now be known as WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT HORROR.

Myself, Jeremy Jones, Joseph Burge and Mike Hassler will be filling your ear holes with discussions about the horror genre. We will be talking about films, memorabilia, topics within the horror community and maybe some interviews. We recognize that the horror podcast pool might be a bit over-crowded but we hope that you give us a shot. As of right now, we plan to release episodes on a bi-weekly basis. Our first episode will be available later today is online now and Episode 2 will be released on Monday. Our release schedule is still being ironed out but we are leaning towards episodes coming out every other Friday.
