Harley Quinn is out for Revenge in the Trailer for the New Edition of ‘Batman: Arkham City’
Many of you have most likely finished the game Batman: Arkham City by now and have (hopefully) recovered from the shocking ending that takes place in the game. It’s apparently a wild ride of a game – that I hope to play very soon myself – that improves on the gameplay of the initial Batman: Arkham Asylum game released by Rocksteady and WB Games and incorporates an intriguing storyline with a number of villains from the caped crusader’s rogues gallery. On May 29th, a new “Game of the Year Edition” of Arkham City will be released that will include all of the previous DLC (downloadable content) previously offered as well as a new pack entitled “Harley Quinn’s Revenge.” Not to act as someone giving away a spoiler here, but it should go without saying that this takes place after the events of the game. Take the title for what it is. For those not wanting to shell out another $50 for the game, this new added storyline will be available on May 29 also as a standalone download. A new trailer for the bonus story has emerged online. It was previously reported that in the story players will have to alternate between playing as both Batman and Robin in a attempt to thwart Harley’s plot and shut down Arkham for good. However, this new trailer fails to give us any indication of that whatsoever and exists more as a gamer’s wet dream by highlighting Harley’s skin-tight, leather outfit, and shows off her ditching her blonde hair color in favor of a new darker tint. It’s still a pretty cool teaser that balances the character’s dark and sexy personality. Just don’t expect to see any new gameplay in it. Check it out below.
