Roger Corman joins St. Louis’ VINCENTENNIAL
St. Louis is proudly the birthplace of one of the most iconic horror actors of all time, Vincent Price. Price would have been 100 years old this year but sadly he left his mortal coil 18 years ago. He took pride in the fact that he was born in St. Louis and for us horror fans, we adore the legend. Therefore, we are celebrating his life in an event that is happening in St. Louis this May called VINCENTENNIAL!! Read on for more info…
Friday, Cinema St. Louis confirmed that director Roger Corman has accepted the invite to join VINCENTENNIAL. There will be screenings of The Masque of the Red Death in 35mm and Tomb of Ligeia (unknown what format) at the home of the Late Nite Grindhouse shows, The Hi-Pointe Theatre!
Friday & Saturday night will have said screenings with a Q&A hosted by Video Watchdog editor and author of Mario Bava: All the Colors of the Dark, Tim Lucas!
I’m super excited to see this all go down in St. Louis as we are a city that seems to miss these great events and opportunities. We will have more information as it comes to us.
