CINEMA FUTURA Available for Pre-Order!
Fans who enjoy reading about film as much as watching them will be excited to hear that a collection featuring some of our most beloved genre authors is coming out soon! Cinema Futura, edited by Mark Morris and published by the UK’s PS Publishing, features authors like Joe R. Lansdale, John Skipp, and Sarah Langan, just to name a few. In this collection they expand on their favorite science fiction movies offering a fresh perspective on favorites like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, and Bladerunner. Jeff Strand, an author who has mastered the art of infusing humor into horror, has an entry on Robocop, so perhaps these musings will include insight into personal influences as well. Sounds like this won’t be your average collection of film essays. Cinema Futura is due out late 2010 and is now available for pre-order.
