AMERICAN MARY Gets a New Cast Member

In my opinion, Twitter is the best social outlet to date. Doing what I do here for DTB and also for sports publications I write for, Twitter is an amazing source for up to date information. Why this is relevant to this article is because it was announced over Twitter that the Twisted Twins have added a cast member to their upcoming feature American Mary. Find out who it is beyond the break.

Leah Gibson (Watchmen) will team up with Katherine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps) and Paula Lindberg (Fringe) in the film. American Mary is the new film from the Twisted Twins (Dead Hooker in a Trunk), who are Jen and Sylvia Soska. The film is written and directed by the duo and you can follow the progress of the film here. Katherine Isabelle is playing the lead role as Mary and the film is being shot on location in Vancouver, BC.

Here is the synopsis of the film:

American Mary is the story of a medical student named Mary who is growing increasingly broke and disenchanted with medical school and the established doctors she once idolized. The allure of easy money sends a desperate Mary through the messy world of underground surgeries, which leaves more marks on her than the so-called freakish clientele.

Sounds like a cross between Flatliners and Pathology.  Hopefully, for the girls sake, it will be more like the first then the latter. I will usually see anything with Isabelle in it so hopefully this film wont disappoint.
