UK Zombie Film, ‘The Girl With All The Gifts’, Gets A Trailer

You may or may not have heard about the novel from M.R. Carey called The Girl With All The Gifts. If not, that’s alright. Like any good book, there is typically a film adaptation waiting to be made. Today, a trailer for the adaptation starring Gemma Arterton, Paddy Considine and Glenn Close hit online from Warner Bros. UK. It looks like we will need to wait Stateside to see when we’ll get to check this out in theaters. For now, check out the trailer below.

Melanie is a very special girl. Dr Caldwell calls her “our little genius.”

Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don’t like her. She jokes that she won’t bite, but they don’t laugh.

The Girl With All the Gifts is a groundbreaking thriller, emotionally charged and gripping from beginning to end.

After watching the trailer, you may get the vibe you had from 28 Days Later and/or 28 Weeks Later. I think a lot of that has to do with the locale but if it has any small hint of either of those films, I think we’ll be in for a treat.
