ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 Mixed With A Satanic Cult Film, LAST SHIFT, Gets a Blu-Ray/DVD Date & Trailer
Magnolia Home Entertainment & Magnet Releasing just sent over the details about the new film, Last Shift, which looks like John Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 (or Rio Bravo) mixed in with a Charles Manson-esque led Satanic Cult. Sounds tasty to me. Check out the trailer above and the details on the release below to satisfy your bloodlust.
From the Press Release
A rookie cop’s first night on duty may very well be her last night alive in LAST SHIFT, arriving on Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital Rental/Download on October 6 from Magnolia Home Entertainment under the Magnet Label. Directed and co-written by Anthony DiBlasi (Dread) produced and co-written by Scott Poiley (Missionary) and produced by Mary Poiley (Missionary), LAST SHIFT stars Juliana Harkavy (“The Walking Dead”) J. LaRose (Dark Places, Saw III and Saw IV) and Joshua Mikel (“Hindsight”) in a supernatural thriller full of “white knuckled scares that will leave you screaming!” (Dread Central).
Rookie police officer Jessica Loren (Harkavy) has been assigned the last shift at a closing police station and must wait for a hazmat crew collecting biomedical evidence. Ordered not to leave the station under any circumstance, Jessica comes to learn that it’s more than just an outdated station, it’s home to the ultimate embodiment of evil and his devoted followers, dangerous cult leader Paymon (Mikel). Paymon’s murderous spirit has haunted the station ever since he and two of his followers committed suicide on the night of their arrest. Trapped, Jessica is left to fight for her very survival in the devil’s playground.
Additional features of LAST SHIFT Blu-ray and DVD include “A Journey Into Hell: The Making of Last Shift”, “Paymon Interrogation Viral Video,” “The Ballad of a Green Screen Guy” and more. The Blu-Ray and DVD will be available on October 6, 2015 for the suggested retail price of $24.98 and $19.98, respectively.
