Watch the trailer for the new Brian De Palma film ‘PASSION’
One of the masters of suspense in American cinema has a new film coming out. It sounds saucy and while De Palma’s latest entries in his filmography haven’t been the best of his work, the man always keeps us interested in anything he is involved in. We will have to see how this new one compares to his extensive career when it premieres at TIFF next month.
Passion is directed by Brian De Palma (Carrie, Blow Out, Scarface), and the film is actually a remake of the 2010 French film Love Crime directed by Alain Corneau, starring Kristen Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier. In De Palma’s remake, Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace slip into the seductive roles. Love Crime is currently available to watch instantly on Netflix.
