Travel Back to 1969 with this New ‘MEN IN BLACK 3’ Trailer
I remember going to see the first Men in Black film with my family on opening weekend. My excitement for the film was cranked even higher because I knew that before the film we were going to see the first trailer for the upcoming Godzilla remake. Though that film didn’t end up so well (and the teaser only really showed the foot stepping through the skylight of a museum), I still had a fair amount of fun watching men in suits hunting down aliens hidden amongst us on Earth. The same can not be said for the sequel. Words can not describe my hatred for the film when I first watched it and as a result I have yet to revisit it. Maybe I will give it another chance before the inevitable third film in the series gets released this May. This new trailer for Men in Black 3 does two things right. One, is that it focuses heavily on some of the creatures which have consistently been a thing of wonder worth applauding in all the films. Secondly, it brings a little more focus to Josh Brolin who does the best Tommy Lee Jones impression ever. If Hollywood ever decides to remake Under Siege, I would campaign for Brolin to play the bandana wearing villain originated by Jones in a heartbeat. Unfortunately there are a fair amount of bad one-liners by Will Smith in this trailer that remind me why I hated the sequel. At any rate, let’s travel back in time with this new trailer for MIB 3.
Agent J travels in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.
