Trailer for THE WOODS MOVIE – The Making of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
Back in 1999, not a lot of films scared me or made my heart skip a beat. I started to hear about a film that played at Sundance that year that was being touted as the scariest film some people have seen. I started following the film and got wrapped up in the story behind it. Unlike many mainstream filmgoers, I knew the film was fake but it was so deep rooted in mythology that it was easy to just dive right in and believe the story. To this day, The Blair Witch Project is one of the few films that made my heart skip a beat. I took my mother to the premiere and she agreed with me that it was very effective. Once those end credits rolled, we heard many complaints from audience goers claiming “That was bullshit” or “I want my money back”.
Regardless if you are fan or not of The Blair Witch Project, there is no doubt that there is some marvel behind how they actually made the film which took a lot of planning and trust in the actors. A documentary film has been in the works for a few years (and I could of sworn some of the Behind the Scenes footage was available online), a few days ago, a festival trailer was published on Vimeo. We have attached it below.

You can also find a possible scene from the film that was uploaded to YouTube almost 5 years ago below.
