The Director’s Iconic Profile Comes to Life in First Photo from ‘HITCHCOCK’
I have to hand it to the make-up department on Hitchcock. They were even able to give Anthony Hopkins the auteur’s famous jowls. Surprisingly, he also resembles Michael Caine as Alfred from the Batman films a little bit as well. Co-starring Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh and Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Hitchcock will follow the tension on and off camera during the making of the classic film Psycho. Since I recently discovered some of Alfred Hitchcock’s older films – you can find those recent Blu-ray reviews listed under the reviews on the right – I find myself curious about this project. Or maybe it’s just my love for Johansson and Biel. Either way . . . this new photo shows promise. The film just began filming last week and is set for release next year.
