‘SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR’ is delayed!
The curse of The Spirit is back! Actually, there was no curse, I just made that up. Frank Miller’s film adaptations sure aren’t having a good year though. First, it was the 300 sequel getting bumped from an August 2013 date to a March 2014 and now Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City sequel is suffering the same fate.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (Sin City 2) has been delayed from the original release date of October 4, 2013 to August 22, 2014. By now we would have heard something by now in regards to posters, trailers or advertising in general. Since the October release date was set before the film went into pre-production, I figured this would happen. So much for that Fantastic Fest prediction on this one. It is probably for the best as Rodriguez will have Machete Kills coming up in September.
