New ‘The Grey’ Trailer Shows off Fan’s Twitter Reactions
I have to admit that I was fairly skeptical when I heard about The Grey. Liam Neeson seems to be doing quite a number of these tough and grizzled survivalist films that I felt it was just going to be more of the same. Clearly, I was wrong. After Harry Knowles and friends premiered it in Austin a few weeks ago as part of the Butt-Numb-A-Thon extravaganza, fans and critic’s Twitter accounts blew up following the screening. Some even felt it was the best film of the festival. A new trailer has been put together to promote the film. In a stroke of genius, the trailer overlaps peoples Tweets over some new footage from the film. This could easily be a new way to market films if The Grey ends up being wildly successful. We will have to see when The Grey opens in theaters January 27, 2012.
