‘INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2’ Reveals New Imagery

I guess since we all went out in droves in 2010 to see James Wan’s new scare-fest, we unintentionally also asked for a sequel in the process.  Well, at least that’s what Hollywood thinks.  Insidious was a fun flick that felt like a modern take on the classic formula of a family living in a haunted house.  Even though I felt the film could easily stand on its own without the help of a second “chapter” to continue the story, I guess there could be far worse sequels that I would dread sitting through.  Wan has been in the news a lot lately with the recent announcement of him continuing the Fast and Furious series and promoting both The Conjuring and Insidious Chapter 2 – both of which see a theatrical release later this year.  Below you will find the first imagery from the sequel to Insidious.  As evident in the photos, there are a number of familiar faces returning to the fold: Leigh Whannell, Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye and Ty Simpkins.  Check out the two new stills along with a new promotional image as well.  Insidious Chapter 2 is scheduled to hit theaters September 13.
