YOU ARE NOT ALONE, the First-Person 4th of July Thriller, Finally Gets a US DVD & VOD Date

It seems like it’s been sometime since we got news on Derek Mungor‘s You Are Not Alone. The first time we reported on it was back in 2012 (!), when there was a poster & a teaser for their Kickstarter campaign with a potential June 2013 release. Then, back in April 2014, the official trailer was posted and 6 months later, another trailer was posted. Then, it went dark. The filmmakers, who funded the film via Kickstarter seemed to be in a holding pattern awaiting for a distributor. Even though their film played at the Cannes Film Market, it was looking questionable if they found a distributor or not. Earlier this year, the film was released in the UK on DVD. Remembering how impressed I was by the trailer, the fact that the film takes place during the 4th of July and me purchasing a region-free Blu-Ray player, I started looking up on how I could import the DVD in time for the holiday. All of that ceased when I saw the good news, You Are Not Alone is getting a US DVD & VOD release on June 23, 2016! Just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
