Late Nite Grindhouse Presents ‘MOTEL HELL’ at Marcus Des Peres 14 on March 7 and 8
We’re going back to the ol’ Late Nite Grindhouse vaults to bring you an “encore presentation”. Back in 2014, we showed the cult classic, MOTEL HELL, when we were doing shows at the Hi-Pointe Theatre. Well, now that we’re celebrating 15 years of cult & genre theatrical exhibition in St. Louis, why not do a repeat every now and again. If you’ve never seen Motel Hell, there is no better reason for you to attend because this one is a gem with the crowd. Rory Calhoun will grace the Des Peres silver screen again (Des Peres saw him previously when we showed ANGEL).
Believe it or not, we’re showing the film 14 years to the exact dates we showed it previously!
Vincent Smith (Rory Calhoun) and his sister Ida (Nancy Parsons) run a rural hotel, but they earn most of their cash operating a food stand that specializes in world-famous sausages. After years of success, however, the duo’s upstanding brother, Sheriff Bruce (Paul Linke) starts to question how the sausage gets made.
