EXCLUSIVE: Quentin Tarantino Taped Over the “Hobbling” Scene from MISERY in his Video Clerk Days
I don’t think it is a secret that Quentin Tarantino loves his feet. I mean, it is kind of unavoidable. His past films have been littered with female feet in possible sexual fetishism. Even though his latest film, The Hateful Eight, didn’t feature any fancy foot imagery, let’s take a look at some of his previous work before we dive into our EXCLUSIVE.
There are examples in Death Proof and Kill Bill as well. However, let’s take a look at the film that Quentin was in where it seemed like his fantasy came true, From Dusk Til Dawn.
I’ve always been curious on what caused his obsession. A few years ago, I heard a rumor that Quentin was a foot guy for a while but then he saw something happen in a film that destroyed him. He stated that when ever he could, he would glorify feet in his films. Tarantino has released films for more than 20 years. It was time we got down to the bottom of it.
It took some time but we finally talked to a close friend, who wants to stay anonymous, who EXCLUSIVELY told us that the film, Misery, destroyed him. Specifically, the infamous hobbling scene. Tarantino went on a personal crusade to change all the VHS tapes of the film when he was working at Video Archives where no one had to see this damaging scene again. Through this once close friend, we were able to obtain a video of a Tarantino-modified VHS tape. The video doesn’t have any sound for some reason but we didn’t want to hold back this little known fact from everyone.
