First Look at the Creatures of DON’T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK

August the 26^th brings us the Guillermo Del Toro produced remake of Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark .  The trailers haven’t been spectacular but it has still sparked my interest to see the film. Well, now there are pictures online of the little monsters that inhabit the film. Read more after the break for stills of the creature and the rest of the cast.

Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is directed by Troy Nixey and stars Katie Holmes (Disturbing Behavior), Guy Pearce (The Road, Memento), and Bailee Madison (Just Go With It) and is about a curious girl opening a doorway of unwanted secrets in a newly purchased estate. She moves in with her father and his girlfriend and unleashes creatures that she must first prove to her father that exist. Stumbling upon a secret level the main character Sally (Madison) must save her family before the creatures tear them apart.
