‘DRAGON TATTOO’ Viral Video for 80’s Crime Show ‘Hard Copy’
Mouth Taped Shut, the viral marketing site put together to promote David Fincher’s highly anticipated The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is at it again. So far the site has released haunting behind-the-scenes photos revealing the director and its stars. Now, the site has unveiled a “lost” video segment from the late 80’s crime show Hard Copy. Obviously the video is not a real one originally televised in 1989, but the show itself was a real investigative program that ran for a long period of time. The VHS recording is obviously made to look like a cheesy episode released long-ago. It is quite an effective and ambitious nine minute video that can be seen below. For those unfamiliar with the mystery surrounding the Vanger family in the Fincher film, this video acts as an informative introduction.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo will be released in theaters December 21.
