Local Horror: Meet Jason From FRIDAY THE 13th PART 2 This Weekend

Friday The 13th Part 2 is without a doubt one of the better sequels in the much beloved Friday series.  Not only do we get our first introduction to the adult Jason, but we get an actually scary looking killer.  Though the iconic mask doesn’t show up until part 3, I feel the overalls, flannel shirt, and burlap sack with single eye-hole is one of the creepiest outfits you are likely to find in any slasher film. If you are as much of a fan of the underrated sequel as I am, you might want to check-out the St. Louis Old School Tattoo Expo this weekend, November 12-14.  All weekend, you will be able to meet in person, Warrington Gillette – The first adult Jason!  Continue reading for more info on the event.

There has been much speculation regarding what scenes and how much time Warrington Gillette was actually the actor under the burlap sack in Friday The 13th Part 2.  Steve Dash is the other actor who portrayed Jason in the film.  Rumor has it that Steve was Jason the majority of the time, until you get to the climactic ending where Gillette stepped in.  I guess that might be something worth clearing up if you meet Gillette this weekend.
