Fantastic Fest announces their short films

In less than 3 weeks, DESTROY THE BRAIN will be covering Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX.  Again, we will be bringing you video, audio and all sorts of coverage for the festival so be sure to come here every day starting September 23-30th!

Personally, I’m a lover of short films.  Not only are they quick tales that don’t need the full amount of time to tell a story, but usually they are stepping stones to new talent.  Beyond the break, read on the amazing selection of shorts Fantastic Fest will be showing…

From the Press Release:

Fantastic Fest announces the full short films lineup, including over 40 genre-bending selections from around the world.  The festival has amassed the ultimate array of cool, twisted, beautiful, mind-bending, horrifying and hilarious short films. The best short films can pack in more emotion, laughs adrenaline, creativity and flat-out insanity than a million big-budget blockbusters. Or they can show you something so ambitiously horrendous that you beg for mercy.
