Teaser Trailer & Stills for ‘SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR’ Have Arrived
Nine years ago I was lucky enough to get to attend an advance screening of Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s Sin City. Having just read the comics, my anticipation was through the roof. I distinctly remember moving to a different position in my 9 to 5 job and I took an extended lunch just to see the film. It was one of the longest work days I had that day but it was well worth it.
Nine. Years. Later. Who knew it would take that long to have a sequel to such a groundbreaking film. I’m just happy it is happening. Things have changed. There are a change of actors for the roles of Dwight (now played by Josh Brolin – who might be a better fit), Miho and sadly, due to Michael Clarke Duncan’s passing, Manute. There is an additional character that hasn’t been in the books called Johnny played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I remember a character named Johnny in the book Daddy’s Little Girl, but I’m assuming this character is not the same.
The look of the scene in the trailer look fantastic to me. The effects are more defined now that the road has been paved and the Sin City look is wondeful. Really looking forward to August. Without further ado, here’s the trailer.
