‘SADAKO 3D’ gets a Sequel to continue the ‘RING’ Universe

Like some of you, I remember the only way to see the original Ringu was via shoddy generation VHS copies that you could order, or trade, via horror magazines. Back then, before high speed internet, torrents and the like, there was no way to see Japan’s spine-tingler on US shores. Now, after being remade here in the States – in what I think is one of the better remakes – and having the Ring universe continue on in it’s native country, that little devil girl is still working that crazy voodoo.

Last year, a new entry called Sadako 3D hit Japan. You might even remember our post about the promotion they did at a Japanese baseball game. While that film will be hitting our shores via Blu-Ray in June (link to purchase is below this post), Twitch got word about the trailer being released for the sequel which is being released in August.
