Too scared to see the gore from the Red Band trailer of ‘EVIL DEAD’? Check out the Green Band Trailer!

We here at Destroy the Brain can honestly say we are looking forward to a remake of a genre classic. I’ll be the first to admit that the original The Evil Dead has problems as a story and execution but the fact that it had such a unique way of being told is the reason why it is still of relevance today. Now, Fede Alvarez is hoping to put some energy into the actual story and make what was supposed to be scary actually scary.

Full disclosure, I haven’t watched the Green Band trailer featured below because I feel like the Red Band might have shown me too much and I want to try and stay in the dark as much as possible. There are only a few characters in this story and I don’t want to be shown their death reels – which I feel might have been the case with the Red Band.

Evil Dead will have its world premiere at SXSW in March and will open in the US on April 12th.
