Hugh Jackman Is Ready For Action In New Image For ‘THE WOLVERINE’
I’m currently composing my list of most anticipated films of 2013 that will be unveiled on the site later this week. One of the films that will be on that list – to give you an early glimpse of one that made the cut – will be James Mangold’s The Wolverine. The character of Logan/Wolverine has such a captivating presences on the screen and can serve as the perfect platform to tell emotional, character-driven stories while also staging some bad-ass fight scenes. Not to mention, I think the initial casting of Hugh Jackman starting back with the original X-Men movie in 2000 has to be one of the most inspired and perfect casting choices in the history of cinema. I can’t even imagine another actor bearing the Adamantium claws and bushy sideburns. All of these and so many more are the reasons why I’m looking forward to The Wolverine. And this new hi-res image from the film certainly sparks my interest even more. Check it out below. The Wolverine slashes its way into theaters on July 26.
